Randy Huffines '79 wants to see the Lanier Center for Archaeology have 54 donors to its program. When this happens, $1800 will be added to the program.
Dr. Terry Hofecker is matching every gift to the Lanier Center for Archaeology up to $1500.
The Lanier Center for Archaeology oversees the largest biblical archaeology program in America, including 9 archaeological research projects in 6 countries. In addition to our overseas projects, the LCA houses a dynamic research and teaching facility located in the Beaman Library on the Lipscomb campus. This facility consists of a ceramics and material culture learning lab, research library, and permanent exhibition. This facility offers courses in bible, history, and archaeology.
The LCA also serves the larger Nashville and Middle Tennessee community by hosting two major conferences on campus. These conferences bring top international and regional scholars to our campus and community. The funds raised by the LCA will mainly go toward supporting our students, allowing them to not only participate in this well-respected international research but also providing them with financial aid for their studies at Lipscomb.
