Description
The Office of Intercultural Development serves to advocate for underrepresented students. We believe all students benefit from ethnic and cultural diversity. Did you know our campus brings together people from 45 countries?
One way we at the OID advocate for students is through the OID fund.
The college experience is more than just going to classes. It's finding friends, learning who you are, and finding your passion. We never want finances to be the reason students don't get the full college experience. That's why we created the OID fund.
If a student ever needs help with:
- academic-related expenses (books, electronics, supplies, etc.)
- academic conference travel
- study abroad fees
- mission trip fees
- social club dues
- or other extracurricular activities that students would not otherwise be able to participate
The OID fund is there to make sure students can participate. Traditional scholarships cover tuition, but we want to make sure historically underrepresented students get the full college experience, and that's where the OID fund comes in to fill the gap.
