Cross Country and Track & Field has seen a tremendous amount of success. Women’s Cross Country took home the 2024 ASUN Championship title for the 11th time. They claimed seven of the top eight finishing spots for a team score of 16. The women’s 53-point margin of victory is the largest in ASUN history. The Bisons, for the second year in a row, heard their name during the NCAA XC Selection Show and qualified for the NCAA XC Championship. They finished 23rd overall as a program at the Championships in Madison, Wisconsin.

The Men’s Cross Country team showcased a successful 2024 season. They look to continue their upward trajectory for seasons to come.

Both Men’s and Women’s Track & Field collected many accomplishments during the 2024 spring season. At the ASUN Championships, the Women’s team finished in third and the Men’s team in fourth. Between both programs, three Bisons earned 2024 ASUN Outdoor Track & Field Postseason Honors. Braeden Ofosu-Kwarteng was highlighted as the Men’s Most Outstanding Freshman. Mackenzie Barnett and Aislinn McElhaney were selected to the women’s Academic All-Asun Team.

Lipscomb’s Liza Corso was named to the United States Paralympic Team as one of 225 athletes who represented Team USA this past summer in Paris. She once again shined on the brightest stage earning a bronze medal in the Women’s 1500m - T13 with a time of 4:23.45. This made her a 2x Paralympic Medalist.

Lipscomb Cross Country and Track & Field set their sights on program advancements during this exciting time of program history. Lipscomb Athletics is now in its 21st year of NCAA D1 eligibility. Thank you for helping Lipscomb Cross Country and Track & Field continue to grow as we look ahead to a bright future.
