Description

Lipscomb Women’s Tennis shelled out a strong 2024 season. They posted a 15-6 record for the year. They won all but one match at home. Individual success was a strongpoint for the Bisons as Mariia Dolzhenko was named ITA Ohio Valley Rookie of the Year. She collected an overall record of 29-9 for the season. Additionally, Sasha Dobranos was named ASUN Player of the Year and to the First Team All-Conference. Dobranos tallied a 16-4 singles record and a 10-2 record in doubles.

Coaching was another highlight for the Bisons during the 2024 season. Head Coach Jamie Aid was named ASUN Coach of the Year. The team opened up the season with Aid’s 100th career win donning the purple and gold. She continued leading the team to an 8-2 start in their first 10 matches, tying the program’s best start in team history.

The Lipscomb Women’s Tennis program is looking to make continued improvements off of another great season. They look to focus on the following areas of athlete development, conditioning and recruiting.

Lipscomb Athletics is now in its 21st year of NCAA D1 eligibility. Thank you for helping Lipscomb Women’s Tennis continue to grow as we look ahead to a bright future.
